Love is a bridge
we made the crossing
flew across the ridge
watched time passing
our souls lift and rejoice
unison of hearts
connected as one voice
into the everlasting
heartbeat of the Son
pulsating through the sky
like the echo of a drum
a vigil held on high
incandescent light undulating
caught up with emotion
in the interstellar code
in awe and beauty
our hearts just overflowed
into Heaven’s perfect light
we could not escape the glow
and shone on through the night
cut the distance
then held tight
for the moment
soon is gone
and if tomorrow never came
and ended sweetly
i’d love you just the same
for you complete me.
